Leviathan's Maid

Actually finished a proper painting after a long while! And once I actually kicked myself to finish this (thanks to an exhibition deadline), I realized, it's been more than a year since I finished a proper miniature. @___@ And so~ In celebration~ *sticks it up here!*

Random unnecessary story to go along with this, just because it's been long since I've sprouted bad stories - off the shores of the eastern kingdom of Toile, there lived the great water serpent, The Leviathan, one of the first and the oldest living creations of the goddess of water. Choosing to never appear before humans and only guard her seas, the Leviathan's maids were her messengers, to communicate with the humans. One day though, the Leviathan got herself charmed by a man, and trotted off with him.

And now the maids just wander around aimless. Wondering what to do. Too much time, no real purpose in life.
