Ambush 2

Er... this was actually made months back, but I figured I'd spare you all the agony of looking at repetitive Fenrir pics so I never posted it. So why post it now? I miss it now that it's goooooone. *sniffle*

Time: Ahem... Started the drawing in november, did the inking in december, put the first washes in january, did the rendering in feburary, panic attacks struck in march, and finally finished it in april

'How Fenrir met Garnet and through a series of unfortunate events found himself no longer single and free'

Deep within the orb laden boughs of Noftra Forest lived the brave Sir Black Cape (Melchior the puppet) and his er... Merry Men (Melar, Merise, Kinat), the defenders of justice, protectors of the weak, serving as a shield for all those towards whom the wicked claws of the evil Sheriff of Tor Babel (otherwise known as Fenrir Falmar, captain of the queen's knights) extended, seeking to snatch away whatever little they had. (Long sentence! )

It was on such a duty that they patrolled the great forest one sparkling night, when the espied the foul villain having cornered a Fair Maiden and up to general allround no-good-ness. Hesitating not, Sir Black Cape swiftly withrew an apple from his quiver, and with the fleetness of the wind hit his quarry right on the mark (that is - Fenrir's head).

Unfortunately for the Merry Men of Noftra Forest, they had picked the wrong mark this time, for truly it was the vile sheriff who had been in need for saving. The Fair Maiden, taking adventage of her quarry's befuddled wits attacked with her charms with full haste and 2 months later the still-confused foul villain found himself exchanging betrothal vows at the altar with the Fair Maiden.

So ends the tale of Fenrir and Garnet.
