Another attempt at trying to remember once more how to paint normally in watercolors.

Medium: Watercolors on cream Bockingford 300g/m
Time: 3 days?

Kweh... I've realized that the cream really does dull up the color (what else did you expect stupid?! *kicks self*) Anyways, I realized I hardly ever make any portrait-type stuffies. And then, after looking at so many of those gorgeously multi-colored paintings here on DA, made in what everyone seems to call 'painterly style', I really felt like making something like so. Ofcourse... ehrm... methinks this painterly style is more easy when you are using something like Painter or oil paints. Everything just blends in so much in watercolors!

But it was actually fun making this, even though I'm not used to drawing on such a big scale anymore. ^_^ (Weeelll... big after miniatures anyways - the normal size of my gouache paintings is about 14 cm high while this is... well twice that.) And I liked throwing all sorts of colors on Aimon's face! XD

Anyways, Her Holiness Aimon, the High Priestess of Harmonie, the one who controls almost all of the western continent and is considered the representitive of all 89 religions (whooo! Doesn't she look oh so tyrant-ish? >.> ) is not very pleased and her bishops are soon to face her wrath as wayward pigeons have snuck into the cathederal again and are making a mess in the hallways and more importantly, near Her Holinesses head. (Violent pigeon fights sound better than beautifully artistic angel feathers floating down, ne? XD)

I think I like inking with a brush waaaaaay better! (though the motifs were a pain... >.> )

Critiscism? (Her hair turned out too blondish...)
